Artists and Musicians

Federico Ibañez & Nuria Lazo

Nuria Lazo and Federico Ibáñez are a tango couple distinguished by their technical solidity, musicality, and deep connection within the embrace. With experience in tango salón, stage tango, and Argentine folklore, they combine precision, elegance, and a clear pedagogical approach that positions them as prominent dancers and instructors in today’s tango scene. Throughout their careers, they have taught classes and workshops in renowned schools in Buenos Aires and in different parts of the world, and they have participated in major shows, festivals, and cultural events. Their style is characterized by fluidity, aesthetic care of movement, and building the dance from both active roles, integrating technique, biomechanics, and creativity.

They have been awarded in the Tango World Championship, achieving Second Place (Subchampions) in Stage Tango in 2025, and at the Buenos Aires Tango Festival and World Championship, where they obtained 4th place in Tango Salón—distinctions that endorse their artistic quality and professional projection. As instructors, they offer precise and accessible tools for dancers of all levels, working through technical analysis, connection, and musical interpretation. They are currently developing classes, themed workshops, and artistic productions.

Bastien Bolon Duret (Lyon)

An excellent dj, a brilliant dancer and tango teacher. Bastien joins us from Lyon. Not to the first time do we collaborate with him. He has been a valuable help at the last Baden-baden Tango Festival. Highly appreciated, well, not only for his dj-ing skills alone, but too for his relentless efforts to dance with any available lady in a beautiful ronda! A much sought after feature in today´s tango!!!
