We will go on a dream trip to Buenos Aires in August 2023. It should be unforgettable. With very popular maestros from Buenos Aires, as well as the organisers of Siempre Tango Carlo Sansour and Brigitte Albert, there are experienced supervisors on site. They will make sure that everything runs smoothly.

• Optional participation in sightseeing and visits to tango sites and attractions of Buenos Aires such as La Boca, San Telmo, Plaza Dorrego, Recoleta Cemetery, Chacarita Cemetery, Teatro Colon.....

• Excursions to El Tigre, Iguazu or Montevideo.

Dance partner: Registration does not have to be in pairs. We try to find suitable dance partners. In case no partner can be found, it is possible to "hire" taxi dancers on site, both for the lessons and for the milonga evening. However, there is a charge for this. The taxi dancers we recommend are usually young, cultivated professional dancers who guarantee you the highest quality of dance and fun while dancing. The cost of these is around $30 for lessons, while a milonga night can cost around $100.

Lessons:  The tango trip to Buenos Aires is meant to be an intensive tango experience and also a qualitative leap in the dance quality of the participants. The regular tango lessons (15 hours in total) are intended to provide a solid basis on which everyone can develop further in a style of their own choice (salon, milonguero, etc.).
Included in the price: 15 lessons on 10 days, i.e. 1.5 hours each of group tango lessons with great maestros.
Not included in the price: Participation in practicas on different topics with different teachers in the milongas, the price is usually included in the entrance fee to the milonga.

Hotel:  We will stay in a nice hotel (4 stars) in the best part of Buenos Aires, Recoleta. The location is wonderful and, above all, the area is very safe. The hotel is quiet, which is anything but a given in Buenos Aires.

Daily schedule (optional):

• After breakfast and a short break, our program begins with tango lessons (on 10 days).

•  After the lessons: free time, shopping or participation in program items such as sightseeing, which we will suggest to you. 
• After a rest at the hotel, the night begins with dinner together.
• Then it's off to the milongas, where there is the opportunity to take part in the "prácticas". These are open lessons offered on various topics. The choice of practicas depends on the individual wishes of the participants, whereby the quality of the offer will be decisive for our recommendation. This means that we do not have to go to a milonga as a closed group, but can split up so that individual wishes are taken into account. Experience shows, however, that participants prefer to visit the milongas together. Milonga visits can last until the early hours of the morning.

• 14 nights with breakfast in a double room (single room with surcharge). 
• Tango lessons as described above. 
• Milonga visits every evening (optional, entrance fee not included in the price). 
•  One private city tour, one exclusive San Telmo tour on foot, other excursions, sightseeing etc. Shopping tour for dance shoes, music and tango fashion. 
• Transfer from the airport to the accommodation and back to the airport (if arrival and departure are on 07th and 21st August, respectively).
•  All-round support and organisation of excursions to Tigre, Iguazu, etc. 

Prices per person: accommodation in a double room with breakfast + lessons as above + supervision as above: 1130 €. Single room supplement: 410 €.

Further possible cost to consider: the entrance fees for the milongas, transfer costs (taxi) to the various activities (can be shared among the trip participants and in our experience costs less than 2 euros per trip per person for a trip with 4 passengers), meals (optional, organised together), shopping, optional excursions to Tigre or Iguazu.

Flight: The flight has to be organised by yourself and is not included in the price. There are large price variations for flights to Buenos Aires, depending on requirements, timing and number of stopovers. We recommend booking as soon as possible. You can use Lufthansa's direct flight as a guide:
Departure: Frankfurt on Sunday, 06 August 2023 at 21:55, Arrival: Buenos Aires on Monday, 07 August at 6:40 am. (Details taken from the 2022 flight schedule. Details for 2023 will be similar).
Return flight: Buenos Aires on Monday, 21 August at 16:55. Arrival: Frankfurt on Tuesday, 22 August, 11:10 a.m.

Booking and cancellation: When you book the trip (see below), you will receive a confirmation with a request to transfer 25% of the price. Up to 12 weeks before departure you can cancel your booking and get a full refund. Otherwise you have to transfer the remaining amount. After that, cancellation is no longer possible directly, as the hotel bookings and other services become effective and subject to charges. However, there is a cancellation option even after the deadline has expired if a replacement participant can be found.
